Mind over limits: Dan Hart

In a nutshell:

Dan Hart, a high-level coach for race car drivers, took on an extraordinary challenge: crossing the North American continent by bike on a fully customized Stajvelo Rocchetta.

He completed the legendary Tour Divide — 4,615 km and 45,000 m of elevation gain — from Banff, Canada, to the Mexican border at Antelope Wells.

Stajvelo is proud to have supported Dan throughout this XXL adventure.

"The Mind is 99% of what you achieve, if you can see it, believe it and just grind it out then it will happen with hard work." It is with this determination that Dan Hart traded the race tracks for the wild trails of North America.

A machine built for the challenge

To tackle the mythical Tour Divide, Dan chose a fully customized Stajvelo Rocchetta: minimalist paint job, meticulous build, and ultra-efficient gear designed for extreme endurance.

4,615 km from Banff to the Mexican border

The adventure began in Banff, Canada, with a clear objective: reach the Mexican border at Antelope Wells, New Mexico. In between: 2,868 miles (4,615 kilometers) and over 150,000 feet (45,000 meters) of climbing.

A constant test — physical and mental

  • Unpredictable weather and extreme conditions
  • Repeated punctures and tires ripped in the middle of nowhere
  • Wild animals along the route
  • Days without seeing a single soul

The victory of will over doubt

After weeks of effort, Dan finally reached Antelope Wells. Lifting his Rocchetta above his head, he celebrated the victory of will over doubt.

Congratulations Dan, the road was long, but the victory is all the sweeter!
