Stajvelo, a premium bicycle brand based in Monaco, creates custom branded bicycles for companies, hotels, residences and brands: a unique piece, a numbered limited edition or a complete fleet, finished in the client's colours and identity. Each project is built on an existing Stajvelo model and followed by the Stajvelo team in Monaco from the first brief to delivery.
This guide explains what a co-branded bike is, what can be personalised, which model to choose, how a project runs and how to prepare one. It draws on real Stajvelo projects, from a limited edition for La Vuelta's Grand Départ in Monaco to a 5-star hotel fleet in Saint-Tropez.
Three kinds of project. Quantities, models and finishes are always defined case by case.
What is a co-branded bike?
A co-branded bike carries the identity of two brands: the bike maker and the company or institution behind the project. Colours, logo placement, lettering and finish are planned from the start, so the design belongs to the bike rather than being added afterwards with a sticker.
A Stajvelo co-branded bike remains a Stajvelo: the frame, the build and the after-sales service stay those of the brand, while the finish expresses the partner's identity. That is what makes it different from a private-label project.
Co-branded, custom or private label?
- Co-brandedBoth brands appear on the bike. Example: the Nomades Sport Stars of Monaco Edition.
- CustomA bike personalised for one person or one property, in colours, components or geometry.
- Private labelOnly the client's brand appears. This is a different kind of project, and whether it is possible is discussed case by case.
Why companies and hotels commission custom bikes
Companies commission custom branded bicycles because a bike is a lasting, visible object, used outdoors and noticed by others. It carries a brand far longer than most gifts or promotional items, and it creates an experience rather than a message.
- Client giftsA personal, high-value gift for key clients, partners or executives.
- EventsA limited edition for a launch, an anniversary or a sporting event.
- Brand partnershipsA collaboration between two brands that share an audience or a territory.
- Hotels and resortsBespoke bicycles for luxury hotels, offered to guests and finished in the identity of the property.
- Companies and residencesCorporate bike fleets for teams, or shared bikes for residents of a premium real estate programme.
Which Stajvelo model to choose
The base model should match how the bikes will be ridden, not only how they will look. A gift for keen cyclists, a hotel fleet and a limited edition for an event call for different bikes.
The Nomades City and Nomades Sport also exist in non-electric versions. Availability of each model and finish for a project is confirmed case by case.
What can be personalised on a Stajvelo
Almost every visible part of a Stajvelo can be personalised, from the paint to the wheels. The right level depends on the purpose of the project, the number of bikes and the time available.
Finish and identity
The finish is the heart of a custom branded bicycle: base colour, accents, logo, lettering and, for a limited series, individual numbering. For the most expressive projects, Stajvelo works with specialist painters and artists.
Charles Leclerc's one-off Roca, presented to him at the Stajvelo showroom in Monaco, was painted by Daniel Designs in Italy and carries his personal CL and 16 logos. It is fitted with Vision wheels, FSA handlebars and Magura MT8 brakes.

Personalisation can also start from a drawing. For Stajvelo's Draw me a Bike project, a mother and her two daughters designed a Nomades Sport as a gift for their father, and the Italian artist Mad56 painted it by hand.

Components and details
Components can carry a project's identity too. Wheels, cockpit, saddle and bar tape can be chosen for performance and for style, and some can carry a logo or a personal mark. For individual riders, the Rocchetta and the Beau Rivage can also be configured online, with colours and upgrades refined afterwards with the team.
Frame and geometry
For a single rider, the most personal option is a frame built to measure. The Stajvelo Beau Rivage starts with a carbon frame hand-built in Italy, with an optional postural analysis in Monaco to set the geometry to the rider. It is then assembled, checked and adjusted in the Stajvelo atelier in Monaco. This level suits a unique gift rather than a series.

How a custom bike project works with Stajvelo
A custom bike project with Stajvelo runs in five steps, with the same team from the first brief to delivery. Each step ends with a clear decision from the client, which keeps the schedule under control.
- BriefPurpose, audience, number of bikes, target date and brand guidelines.
- Model and sizesChoice of bike, electric or not, and a size breakdown when the riders are known.
- Design proposalColours, logo placement, finish and components, presented as visuals.
- ValidationFinal design, specification and schedule approved before production starts.
- Assembly and handoverBikes prepared, checked and adjusted in Monaco, then delivered, set up for each rider and explained to the team.
Stajvelo bikes are prepared in the Fontvieille atelier in Monaco: the Nomades, Rocchetta, Mirabeau and Beau Rivage are assembled there, and every bike is checked and adjusted before it leaves. For fleets, delivery can take place on site, with a short training on use and safety for the teams. Lead times depend on the model, the level of personalisation and the number of bikes, and are confirmed when the project is validated.
Buy or lease a custom bike fleet?
A custom fleet can be bought or leased. Buying suits gifts and limited editions, and means owning the bikes. Long-term leasing suits bikes ridden every day by guests, residents or employees, because it spreads the cost over time. Stajvelo offers long-term leasing solutions for professional fleets with Greenleaze, with the option of adding a maintenance contract depending on the client's needs and the terms of the financing.
The Kube, a 5-star hotel in Saint-Tropez, offered its guests electric Nomades bikes for two years before renewing its fleet, on a long-term leasing basis, with non-electric Roca Gravel bikes. Read the Kube story or our guide on how to build a bike fleet for a hotel or resort.
When a maintenance contract is part of the project, servicing in Monaco is carried out by the Stajvelo team. Discover our offer for companies on our corporate bike page, and for hotels on our hotel mobility page.
How to prepare a custom bike project
A clear brief shortens a custom bike project. Five pieces of information are enough to start a useful conversation with Stajvelo.
- PurposeGift, event, partnership, hotel fleet, company fleet or display.
- ScaleA unique piece, a limited edition or a fleet.
- RidersWho will ride, how often, and on which roads.
- DateThe event or delivery date, if there is one.
- IdentityLogo files, colour references and brand guidelines.
If the bikes will be ridden by people who do not know them yet, a test ride at the Monaco showroom helps choose the right model before the design starts.
Frequently asked questions
Does Stajvelo make custom branded bicycles for companies?
Yes. Stajvelo, a premium bicycle brand based in Monaco, creates custom branded bicycles for companies, hotels, residences and brands, from a unique piece to a limited edition or a fleet. Each project is built on an existing Stajvelo model and defined case by case.
What is the difference between a co-branded and a private-label bike?
A co-branded bike carries both brands: the bike maker and the partner. A private-label bike carries only the client's brand. Stajvelo's collaborations, such as the Nomades Sport Stars of Monaco Edition, are co-branded. A private-label request is a different kind of project and is discussed case by case.
Can a company order a single custom bike?
Yes. A single bike is often chosen as a gift for a client, a partner or an executive. For one rider, a frame built to measure, such as the Stajvelo Beau Rivage, offers the most personal result.
How long does a custom bike project take?
It depends on the model, the level of personalisation and the number of bikes. A finish on an existing model is quicker than a frame built to measure. Stajvelo confirms lead times once the design and specification are validated.
Can a custom bike fleet be leased?
Yes. Stajvelo offers long-term leasing solutions for professional fleets, including hotels, residences and companies, with Greenleaze. A maintenance contract can be added depending on the client's needs and the terms of the financing, and conditions are defined case by case.
