Objectif Kouign-Amann: Three weeks to escape
In a nutshell:
Florian set off on a whim to cover over 1,800 km across France in total autonomy, riding a Stajvelo electric gravel bike with custom hand-sewn bags.
From Lyon to Mont Saint-Michel via the Veloscenie, he followed secondary roads and converted railway tracks, wild camping every night.
Three weeks, countless encounters, and one conclusion: the journey matters more than the destination.
"It was a public holiday and I was struggling. Everything was closed, and I stopped to ask for something to eat. I only wanted a few noodles to fill my cookset, but I ended up with a whole packet that I devoured, plus some ham kindly gifted to me!"
A spontaneous adventure, a custom setup
On a whim, Florian announced that he wanted to cover over 1,800 kilometers in total autonomy on our electric Gravel bike. In just a few days, he configured the bike himself. Most of the bags were designed and hand-sewn to fit the bike's geometry.
Mont Saint-Michel and the call of the open road
After three weeks, 1,800 kilometers, and a stop in Saint-Malo, he wants only one thing: to head out again. "I was blown away by the possibilities it offers you to go further... but the most important thing is the journey and the road you take."
